High alumina brick of over SK35 contain 50% to 80% Alumina content are made from raw materials of high degree of purity of Bauxite and fireclay. For serve under severe conditions, High alumina bricks have excellent mechanical strength, good resistance to thermal spalling, and are highly resistant to chemical attack by vilatile alkaies and some slag.Compared with ordinary refractory clay bricks, high alumina bricks have higher refractoriness, slag resistance and thermal shock stability, and are widely used in high-temperature industrial kilns and smelting equipment.
High alumina brick features :
1. High refractoriness:
The refractoriness is usually above 1750ºC, which is more resistant to high temperatures than ordinary refractory clay bricks (1580-1770ºC).
2. Strong thermal shock resistance:
It is not easy to crack or peel due to rapid temperature changes, and is suitable for high temperature shock environments.
3. Strong corrosion resistance:
It has strong resistance to acidic and alkaline slag and molten slag, and is suitable for metallurgy and chemical industries.
4. High mechanical strength:
The brick body has high density and strong compressive strength, and can withstand the mechanical stress of high-temperature equipment.
5. Good thermal conductivity:
t can increase the furnace temperature, reduce heat loss, improve fuel utilization, and save energy and reduce consumption. High alumina bricks are the preferred refractory materials for high-temperature industrial kilns and smelting equipment, especially in steel, building materials, electricity, chemical and other industries.
